BORDERLESS BOUNDARY
Light, Space and Air - these were the fundamental elements of this interior.
To ensure that these three natural elements can be of abundance within this space, all man-made structure was removed - wherever possible, resulting in collective space that is free from any unnecessary obstacles. Different areas were connected in with similar flooring designs for flow and continuity.
The beams within the space were painted black to then differentiate the spaces without using screens or any fixtures.
Light grey cement-textured tiles decked the common spaces, whereas green-textured tiles - which are slightly smaller in size, treads around the perimeter of the living room, guiding one to the master bedroom where it ends at the dresser with a vintage sewing machine legs as a feature piece.
Within the master bedroom, lattice-design glass doors separate an existing balcony. Fluted at the bottom, these glass doors allow ample sunlight to fill the space, subtly transforming the whole room into a light-filled oasis.
The homeowners' jay for hosting and entertainment is also incorporated into the spaces of their home.
As gatherings and parties are a constant, two island counters were specifically built for this purpose, giving ample space for anyone to make magic in the kitchen.
Last but definitely not the least, the movie room.
This room has no physical structures except bean bags, a projector, and probably a subscription to Netflix - because how else should they spend their lazy weekends? Nothing less, nothing more.
